THE WEDDING OF
Melissa stumbled upon a profile on Bumble (a dating app) for a guy named Evan who loved dogs. She swiped right and was notified "You Matched!" Their first date was mini golf at Puttery in Minneapolis. They proceeded to have several more dates and Evan asked Melissa to be his girlfriend after a couple weeks.
Evan and Melissa have enjoyed going on dates to hockey games, baseball games, football games, and restaurants around the Twin Cities. They have gone for numerous bike rides and walks around the lakes together. Their travels have taken them to Las Vegas two times, Milwaukee, the north shore in Minnesota, Hilton Head Island, and Hawaii. They share a mutual love of Formula 1 and even went to the Las Vegas Grand Prix together in 2024.
The couple dated for 1 1/2 years until Evan proposed to Melissa on a beach while on a vacation in Kauai, Hawaii.
They purchased a home together in Maple Grove, Minnesota and adopted a dog named Daisy in 2025 and are enjoying the suburban life.
